With the 10th anniversary in 2018 of the community buying the old Hermon school site, it is worth celebrating all the tremendous activities and developments that have taken place. There are many new people in the area in and around Hermon who do not know about the story of the initial shareholders raising over £120,000 to buy the old school.

In this 10th anniversary year, there is a need to invest in the old boiler room and Victorian chimney stack area of the site and the volunteer committee would like to invite people who have not got a cooperative share to become a member/shareholder of this local mutual organisation. Shares can be purchased via a standing order process of £25 a month over 10 months. Just visit the website or call in the office in the hall to pick up a standing order form and then own a £250 share in the site.

It is the members/shareholders of the hall cooperative that decide on the ongoing development of the site and we wish to hear your views and invite you to be part of the ongoing journey in shaping the vision for our community hall  cooperative at Canolfan Hermon.
