This month, Laid Back Cinema Club presents Wadjda, the much acclaimed Saudi Arabian story of a girl who will do anything to get the bike of her dreams.  The film has been made by a woman… which is no mean feat when you consider that women can’t even vote in Saudi Arabia, and cinemas are banned!  The director overcame all the odds to create a funny, touching, simply-told story of a young girl who is determined to find a way to create her own little revolution.  PG rated.

Popcorn and drinks are available.  Bring something comfy to lie back on (bean bag / floor cushion etc), but we do have chairs if prefer more conventional seating!
