Symphony Sid and the Swing Kings – the 8 piece West Wales Swing and Jive band will be performing at Hermon Hall on the 23rd of April starting 8pm.
This professional eight piece band perform a wide repertoire of numbers ranging from the ever popular Soul and R’n B popularised by the “Blues Brothers” & “The Commitments ” to the cool, swinging melodies of the Rat Pack. All this with a good helping of Rock n’ Roll! and a few Tom Jones numbers thrown in also. Playing a range of Jive numbers from the likes of Louis Jordan and Swing from the era of Glenn Miller, the evening at Hermon Hall is set to be one to remember.
Symphony Sid & the Swing Kings have over 20 years experience having worked regularly with BBC Radio Wales, HTV and S4C and performed at many venues throughout Wales & England.
