While so many are rushing ahead towards the Spring Time, naturally and instinctively we are in a time of rest and hibernation.
Won’t you join me for this Winter Time Yoga Nidra Meditation, where we welcome all that this slower and darker time of year has to offer.
This is a time for gentle introspection, creating space for us to reflect on the past year and an invitation to plant a seed for future thought and growth while still leaning into deeply nourishing and nurturing R E S T.
Yoga nidra translates as “yogic sleep” ~ it’s a form of guided meditation, where you create a beautiful nest space and just follow my voice and simply rest deeply…as you float in the space just before sleep, where you remain aware of everything, and yet are blissfully detached.
This is the space where magic happens, and 45 minutes of nidra can be the equivalent of deep and restorative sleep.
Leave feeling calm, refreshed and revitalised.
This practice is particularly helpful for those working with stress related conditions and those who would like to improve their sleep and balance their nervous systems and goodness knows we can all benefit from being well rested and rooted.
Yoga Nidra is a suitable for all levels.
There are no yoga poses involved, you will simply be encouraged to cosy up and be as comfortable as you can be for the journey together.
