A small but dedicated company,Β the CraftCourses team consists of software engineers, editorial and bilingual customer services (we operate a mini call centre so our customers can always speak to a real-life humanβ¦) and continues to innovate and build new & bespoke software, also supporting makers to βmakeβ a living too (teaching is often the βbread and butterβ) at the same time as helping keep traditional, ancient & universal skills alive.
CraftCourses became a certified B-Corps company in 2021, a global movement βusing business as a force for goodβ and are also members of the Good Business Charter with Kate winning the GBEA Creative Entrepreneur of the Year for CymruΒ in 2022.
Home grown by Kate Dewmartin, the daughter of rocking horse makers, CraftCourses was initially born in 2011 on the moors by the Brynberian, then had a few years in a caravan up Foel Drigarn, Mynachlog-ddu before moving to Hermon in 2014. Just as the pandemic was pushing everyone to WFH in 2020, we finally moved out of home working and opened a proper HQ at Canolfan Hermon, where we are very happy, diolch yn fawr iawnΒ 🙏.
We have a huge choice ofΒ creative experiences right here on our doorstep so if youβd like to try a new craft, improve an existing skill, or simply have HWYL A SBRI!, look no further!
